Indah Water Konsortium Sdn. Bhd. advocates the need to enhance knowledge and skill of its staffs and other workers and practitioners in the sewerage sector to be effective and efficient in planning, operation and maintenance of its sewerage assets.For this, Asian Sewerage Training, Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence (ASTRICE) was established at the Sg. Besi Regional Sewage Treatment Works, Bukit Jalil in February 2006 and has been conducting training ever since.The training centre is a dedicated location for technical training on sewerage system that focuses on theory and practical for the staffs of Indah Water and the wider public via becoming a training provider to the stakeholders in the wastewater industry, regulators, international and to the local.
